Rimac, a Croatian manufacturer of high-performance electric vehicles, is set to debut a new model at the Monterey Car Week. The vehicle, referred to as "Radical," will be unveiled soon. Although specific details about the car are yet to be revealed, Rimac recently shared a teaser image on their official social media account and removed all previous content from their page.
The teaser image features a portion of the car's front end, which shares some similarities with the existing Nevera model. However, the front splitter and unique aerodynamic elements visible in the image differ significantly from those seen on the current Nevera production variant. In addition to releasing the teaser image, Rimac launched an unusual countdown timer on their website, further fueling speculation among car enthusiasts.
Words accompanying the image emphasize the word "Radical" prominently, hinting at a possible connection between the name of the vehicle and radicalism. Some speculate that this could refer to a vehicle equipped with engines; however, it is unlikely considering Rimac broke several world records last year with their Nevera model breaking a near-7-minute lap time around Nurburgring circuit by 20 seconds than any previous electric vehicle records achieved – making Nevera an already highly aggressive product.
Rimac's second teaser image showcases an enormous fixed rear wing along with an intriguing message: "Do you think you know Rimac? Think again." This raises questions about whether this new vehicle could have anything to do with internal combustion engines.
